A precast, interlocking, articulating concrete block installed on an underlying mat of filter fabric.
   

Gator-Bloc are unique, lightweight, identically shaped and tapered components.  They are normally installed by hand placing on an underlying mat of filter fabric.  Where site conditions dictate, Gator-Bloc can be pre-assembled on mats to be placed with special installation techniques.

Open areas may be filled with topsoil and seeded for an attractive natural look. Gator-Bloc may also be used as a seeded base for parking areas to provide a porous alternative to asphalt and concrete.
